Curbside Pickup

All branches of First Regional Library are offering curbside pickup of library materials. This service is by appointment only.

Starting Monday, July 20th, most branches of FRL will be offering limited in-library services.
(document services-fax, print, copy, limited browsing, computer use, private study areas)
These services are also by appointment only.
All services may not be available at every branch.  Please contact your local branch for more information.
More services will be added when we are able to provide them while adhering to
mandated safety guidelines.

***Due to a confirmed exposure to the Covid-19 virus, the Senatobia Public Library is closed until August 3. Appointments will be rescheduled.***

How Does it Work? Simply call your local branch. BRANCH PHONE NUMBERS HERE. Please have your library card number ready when you call. A library staff member will help you get the library materials you need, and then help you set up an appointment for curbside pickup and other services, if available.

How Will Curbside Pickup be Handled? Each branch is devising a system that works best for them, with safety as the top concern and with no physical contact between staff and patrons. When you speak to the library staff member, they will tell you how the pickup process will work.

How Do I Place My Holds? You may place holds via our online catalog, or talk to the library staff member about what you are looking for and let them offer suggestions and guidance.

How Many Items May I Checkout? Up to 5 items per library card, per appointment. If you have friends or family members who can’t make it to an appointment, you may pick up items for them if you have given us their library card number when you called.

Can I Return My Library Items at Curbside? We are not accepting any returns at curbside. Bookdrops will be open at these same branches. All returned items will be quarantined for 3 days, until they are safe for our staff to check-in.  There are no overdue fines at this time. Some branches will be accepting donations (via bookdrop only). Contact your branch to see if they are accepting donations at this time.

Can I Return My Items in the Building? For those branches that will be conducting in-house appointments, there will be a return bin at the entrance. Like items returned via bookdrop, these items will be quarantined before they are checked in.

Are These Items Safe for My Family to Bring Home? Any items borrowed from First Regional Library will have been quarantined for a period of time. Staff will be practicing safety procedures like the wearing of masks, frequent hand washing, social distancing, and sanitizing work areas. If you are not comfortable picking up physical materials, please use our Overdrive digital service. For our high risk patrons and patrons with disabilities, we offer a Books by Mail service.
